"PAD at Virginia Tech was a club that I joined my freshman year and was the main source during my college career that allowed me to have legal exposure and helped me engage in a community where I had peers that I could relate to. As a first-generation college student, it was extremely helpful to have this community that I could always go to whenever I had general questions or even when I wanted to study for the LSAT with someone. PAD also provided meetings with individuals that helped me understand what to do before applying, what to look for when applying, and how to narrow down my options of schools to apply to.
