Who We Are
Virginia Tech’s pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) is here for you if you are considering law school and a legal career. We help students decide whether they want to pursue a legal career, learn about life in law school, get more information about the law school application and admissions processes, study for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), explore what types of law they may be interested in, and more. We do these things by bringing in a variety of guest speakers including attorneys, judges, representatives from law schools, alumni, and others. We hold weekly meetings during the academic school year. PAD at VT is open to all interested individuals and has many leadership opportunities available. If you are curious about what is involved in preparing for law school, going to law school, and having a legal career, this is the organization for you! If you have questions, you may contact the chapter's president, Katie Smith (vtpad@vt.edu), or its faculty advisor, Dr. Wayne Moore (prelaw@vt.edu).
