Phi Alpha Delta’s Philanthropy
PAD at Virginia Tech has partnered with the One1ove Foundation and its commitment to ending relationship abuse. We will be raising money and awareness for One Love during Philanthropy Week!
One1ove’s Mission Statement
“One Love Foundation is a national non-profit organization with the goal of ending relationship abuse. We empower young people with the tools and resources they need to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and bring life-saving prevention education to their communities.”
What is the One1ove Foundation?
One1ove is a globally recognized nonprofit organization founded after Yeardley Love in 2010.
The organization focuses on helping young students, particularly those in academics, get further education on the signs of an unhealthy relationship. Specifically, those that lead to domestic abuse or harsh mental health declines.
One1ove offers a variety of different courses and educational classes to help educate students on the differences between a healthy and unhealthy relationship.
